Australian Touring Services [ATS Logistics] provides a specialised service to the Australian entertainment and film industry, delivering logistical solutions for the most challenging projects by drawing on our team's intimate knowledge of the national and international freight industry. History
Australian Touring Services began operating in February 2002, our growth has been rapid and our client base very impressive. We look for opportunities where we can offer solutions that are smarter, faster, safer and more cost effective. We are pro-active and quick to act, often leaving bigger and more cumbersome organisations in our wake. With over 80 years combined experience within this specialised industry we are able to offer a reliable, professional and personalised service that far exceeds our client's expectations.
We have established partnerships that combine skills, knowledge and market presence coupled with an extensive network of talented professionals to draw on, we really can offer an extensive range of services to our clients.

Chris Nicholson Chris Nicholson started his career in airfreight in 1975 with the New Zealand army as a loadmaster. He continued his career managing the Road transport/Airfreight business for Freightways International in Auckland. He also went on to perform various management positions within the Mayne Nickless group.

| Chris Woods is the youngest member of our team. Chris comes from a rock and roll background doing gigs in pubs and clubs in around Sydney. This experience complimented with his current study - a diploma in music / business management ensures his ability to provide a level of understanding and service to his clients unique in the logistics arena. Chris is proud of the level of support he has provided to major Australian acts such as Jebediah, Gyroscope, Antiskeptic, Grinspoon, and is particularly proud of supporting Powderfinger for many years in the domestic arena, and now internationally. Chris's focus is to continue to develop the Australian Domestic entertainment market, with top line acts such as these. |

Alvaro Melendre commenced his freight career in the early 90s where he performed several tasks from driving for transport companies to managing large groups of people for several transport companies. Allied Express, Ansett Air Freight, Ansett Australia, Cater Air and Goddens Food Wholesale. Alvaro's highlight of his career was with Ansett Air Freight where he was employed as customer service supervisor where he maintained a close working relationship with many senior account mangers traveling throughout Australia and assisting with all their needs. Alvaro displays an immense amount of dedication and forward thinking. Al joined ATS in October 2006 and has brought all his attributes and great ideas to ATS. Al is a valued member of the ATS team his expirence with AAE sets him well as he develops our domestic LCL business. |

Kate Saalfeld joined us in May 2006 and brings with her a strong finance background, having performed financial and administration roles for some very well known companies both internationally & nationally such as: Financial Times (London) As a result of working with the international & national finance community, Kate has acquired technical & practical knowledge relating to international & national financial laws & has obtained extremely strong customer service abilities that help relate to all walks of life. Kate enjoys a keen interest in the Australian music industry. |

Jeannine Mulligan joined us in 2004 and brings with her 12 years entertainment industry experience having worked both as an Assistant Accountant for Cameron Mackintosh involved on projects such as Phantom of The Opera, Miss Saigon and the Asian/South African tour of Les Miserable and as Financial Accountant for the Entertainment logistics division of the Ansett Group of Companies. Jeannine’s production accounting experience means that she understands fully the importance of meeting the production deadlines faced in this industry. |
