Gibson Freight International

Gibson Freight, established in 1978, is Australia's largest independent international freight forwarder with offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

They are the leading motor sport logistical support company in the Southern Hemisphere and are responsible for the Formula One Grand Prix, Moto GP, Indy Events and V8 Supercars.

They have:

• 25,000sq ft bonded freestore including customs licensed airfreight transit bond and FAK deconsolidation depots.

• Roller bed trucks for airline transfers

As well as having some 80 people on the ground in Australia they have operations also established in Fiji.

REHE and Sons Transport

Commenced operations as a single owner operator in 1970 with a 1966 Bedford Primemover and six car carrier trailer hauling Holden cars between Sydney and Melbourne. They purchased their first Kenworth in 1974 and were one of the pioneers in linehaul operations in what was then the fledgling Xpress freight industry. Today the fleet consists of 29 Kenworths and one Argosy Freightliner.


For trailing equipment they have over 40 pieces of 45ft and 48 ft pans and tautliners, all with AIR-RIDE suspension, as well as 8 B-Double combination units fitted with the latest mezzanine flooring.

The average age of the prime mover fleet is 18 months which ensures the fleet is reliable and environmentally friendly.

Based in Wodonga, Rehe and Sons employ over 50 people. They are extremely vigilant in fatigue management ensuring the driver's health and well being as well as understanding the importance of being on time every time.
